Extended Desktop display position changes from right to left after undocking and docking

Problem:

The logical display position on Tecra M11, when using Windows XP and external display with the internal LCD in Extended Desktop mode may change from right to left after the following sequence of events:

1. Computer is attached to a Port Replicator.
2. The external monitor is configured as the primary monitor.
3. The external monitor is physically positioned on the right.
4. Computer is undocked, then docked.

The external monitor remains the primary monitor, but will logically be displayed as if it where positioned on the left. To logically reposition the configuration, to show the monitor on right, go to display properties and manually drag the external monitor to the right of the notebook display. This will provide a temporary solution to the issue but will not prevent a re occurrence after the sequence of events are repeated.

Solution:

This issue was corrected in Toshiba Mobile Extension for Windows XP, version 3.94.01.XP.

Download and install Toshiba Mobile Extension for Windows XP version 3.94.01.XP.
