  • Q: My Notebook is stolen from my car, can I claim it under this service?

    A:No, the Assured Service Program does not cover loss or theft. We recommend that you contact your insurance company who may be able to assist.

  • Q: Do I have to pay any fees when requesting service?

    A:Yes, a service assessment fee of $100 inc. GST is applicable for each service request.

  • Q: How many times can I make a service request under the Assured Service Program agreement?

    A:There are limits on the number and the type of service requests that are covered by this service, depending on the period of the agreement. Please refer to the terms and conditions.

  • Q: Am I still covered by the Assured Service Program when my Toshiba warranty expires?

    A:No, the Assured Service Program must match your Toshiba warranty period.

  • Q: How do I match the Assured Service Program and the Toshiba warranty periods?

    A:If your Notebook has a 3 year Toshiba warranty you are eligible to purchase the Assured Service Program-3 Year (ASP-3Y). If your Notebook has a 1 year Toshiba warranty you are eligible to purchase the Assured Service Program-1 Year (ASP-1Y).

  • Q: When can I purchase this service?

    A:This service must be purchased strictly within 30 days of your Notebook’s new purchase.

  • Q: Will the terms and conditions of my Toshiba warranty be affected by the purchase of the Assured Service Program?

    A:This service is supplemental to the Toshiba warranty. It does not change the Toshiba warranty terms and conditions.

  • Q: Under this program, would Toshiba repair wear and tear on my Notebook?

    A:Yes, if the wear and tear directly affects the performance and operation of your Notebook.

  • Q: Can I purchase this service for a School Notebook Access Program (SNAP) Notebook?

    A:No, The Assured Service Program is not available for SNAP Notebooks.

  • Q: I have just purchased the Assured Service Program, what do I do next?

    A:You need to complete the registration form and return to us by mail within 14 days of purchase to activate service.
