How do I set the nVidia® graphics card as preference in an Optimus™ enabled machine?

In Optimus™ enabled computers you may find that some programs need the nVidia® graphics card to be selected as default for them to work. You may follow the steps below to set this as your preference.

For more information on nVidia® Optimus™ technology you may go here.

1. Right click on your Desktop wallpaper and select "nVidia Control Panel".

2. Select Manage 3D settings.

3. You may select to change Global settings or Program Settings to prioritise the nVidia® Chipset or the Intel® Chipset.

Please note: Some machines will have "Intel HD integrated" as an option instead of "Integrated graphics".
