You may find in this case that you need to set the new device plugged into your Dynadock(either headphones, speakers, mic etc) as the default device so that Windows knows what to use to play or record sounds.

1. Click on the TOSHIBA Dynadock Utility located in your Toolbar.



2. Click on “Select sound device”.



3. This will open up the sound properties window.

4. Select the playback/recording device that you wish to use.

5. Click on “Set Default”.
