How do I correctly handle my optical disk drive (CD/DVD drive)?

We recommend that you:

• Do not move your computer before all optical drive activity, such as reading from or writing to media, has ended.
• Do not press the eject button or turn off the computer while the drive is still in use.
• Be sure the drive in-use indicator light has stopped glowing before starting any of these activities.

Failure to follow these instructions may result in damage to the drive, the media and/or data loss
